As the co-chairman of the National Tripartite Socioeconomic Council and the head of the AOEU, Anatoly Kinakh focused on lobbying for international sanctions against the Russian aggressor country and strengthening support for Ukraine.

Thus, NTSC and AOEU appealed to the International Association of Economic and Social Councils (MAESERPI) regarding the inadmissibility of Russia's membership in the organization. 12 European councils then decided to temporarily suspend their activities in the Association due to the presidency of the Russian Federation until the General Assembly of the MAESERPI.

Anatoly Kinakh also spoke at the plenary session of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), emphasizing the crimes of the Russian Federation in Ukraine and the need to assign the aggressor the status of a terrorist state. Then, at this session on March 24, the European Economic and Social Committee adopted a resolution in which it strongly condemned the unilateral Russian aggression against Ukraine and the involvement of this Belarusian regime.

The committee called on the EU institutions to increase pressure on Russia by promptly introducing additional sanctions and using all other available tools to immediately stop Russia's military actions on the territory of Ukraine.

At the same time, the EU institutions were recommended to start a concrete dialogue with Ukraine as soon as possible regarding the process of the country's accession to the European Union in accordance with Article 49 of the EU Treaty.

The European Economic and Social Committee called on the EU and its member states to prepare adequate assistance and a recovery plan for Ukraine; emphasizes that the Russian Federation must bear responsibility for the destruction of Ukrainian infrastructure and cities, compensate for the damage caused.

Cooperation with the International Labor Organization is actively developing. The ILO severely limited the activities of representatives of the Russian Federation within the organization and condemned the aggression against Ukraine.

Together with the International Labor Organization, the International Labor Organization implemented a six-month project for Ukrainian small entrepreneurs "Business sustainability under martial law".
